 How to find a lost child:
  Young children can not see the face of every adult in a crowd. Keep a bright colored scarf with you. Show the scarf to your child and tell them to look for it around your leg if they can't find you.  This will give your child a visaul point of reference that he can see from his vantage point. Stand on a bench to elevate yourself above the crowd. Immediatly notify local security. New Uses for Baby Oil

Remove latex paint from skin: Pour a generous amount of baby oil on a cotton ball and scrub.
Untangle a necklace chain: Massage a dab of oil onto the tangled area, then use a straight pin to carefully pull apart the knot.

Unstick a photograph:
Slide a length of dental floss under the corner of a photo that's stuck to an album page or another snapshot. Work the floss between the two surfaces to separate them without damaging the picture.

Save a neckla

Rescue a busted strand by threading the beads onto dental floss for a quick, sturdy fix.

Hang a painting:
 To hang lightweight artwork that's not in a heavy frame with glass, use dental floss in place of picture wire.
String a popcorn garland
Just thread the floss through a needle as you would ordinary sewing thread. 
 Cut a cheesecake
Use unwaxed, unflavored floss to slice any soft layer cakes, or homemade cinnamon buns from a roll.
      Adhesive Remove: Banish stickers from mirrors, glass, and bumpers by applying a generous helping of mayo to persistent adhesives. Use a flexible putty knife to help coax them off.

     Baking soda: Mix with water and use it on your face as an exfoliator. I read this somewhere years ago and I have been doing it since, I truly thought people would think I was crazy for telling them but after reading that Queen Latifah's grandmother gave her the same advice, It was now something I wanted to share with everyone.

    Keep e-coli and salmonella out of your kitchen with a spray bottle of peroxide. Spray sinks, counters, and cutting boards. From the Nate  Burkus site.

    Carving a Round Cake:  Forget about fussy slivers. You’ll get more pieces in less time with this method: Use a long, sharp knife to cut a smaller circle inside the larger one. Cut the outer ring into wedges, then cut the remaining, smaller cake as you normally would, like a pizza. Give the frosting-laden outer wedges to the kids, and reserve the more lightly iced interior pieces for the adults.

    Keep flowers fresh:  Drop a penny into a vase add a pinch of sugar to the water and keep your flowers perkier for longer.
